Results and Evaluation
Amazing stuff, pretty easy to do because you don't feel hungry, now, if you eat for emotional reasons, expect some fall out and get some support In place or buy the stuff from a rep that will follow up with you every day and provide the facts and support that you need when modifying your lifestyle, you can email my rep, she as amazing, kind and really interested in helping me to get healthy! Her name is laura and her website is www.laurawhitby@isagenix.com!. Anyways back to me... Drumroll please... In 11 days, I feel great, full of energy, and I lost 12.5 inches (total) from my arms, legs, waist and chest and I started at 210 pounds and weighed in this am at 201... Yeah! Almost 10 pounds! My husband did not weigh himself or measure, but his clothes are fitting better, his face is thinner and we are going in the right direction. We are transitioning into the 30 day cleanse until we lose the rest, he will weigh himself at the end of 30 days and start measuring then. My goal is to hit 170 by June!
I will update again in a few weeks.

Day 11 of 11
I feel great, I can't wait to weigh and measure, but I am going to wait until tomorrow! I am so proud of myself, I did it, I somehow resisted the chocolate chip pancakes I made for my kiddos for the sleepover, the popcorn, the frenchbread pizza, the salmon and broccoli, I really did it!
One more day of cleanse and then I am moving into a regular program of 2 shakes a day and a healthy meal for lunch six days a week, 1 cleanse day per week until I release all my excess weight. I know I am moving toward a healthy future and I am so excited! I will post my measurements, my weight lost and a link to the Isagenix counselor who has coached me through my 11 day journey

Yeah, not a scam, this stuff is for real... Are you toxic? I know that Isagenix has a link for the info, I will find it and post it either later today or maybe tomorrow. Stay tuned.... Day 8 of 11 day Cleanse update
Ok, I made it through another day of cleanse, and I really struggled, not because I am hungry, but because if I can't use food to provide comfort and distraction from my stress It makes me grumpy! Change is hard, I have to admit that some of my eating habits need to be changed and that you cannot just eat away your stress. I also have to adjust my expectations, I guess it took me more than 11 days to become 40 pounds overweight, it is probably going to take me a bit more time to undo the damage! Tomorrow is another day...
Days 5 - 7 of 11 - shake & meal days
Day 5... Yeah, the chocolate shake was good, and I was still feeling great, no real cravings, I don't feel deprived and I really haven't felt hungry, thanks to the Isagenix snacks every couple of hours, but lunch was the best meal I have ever had in my life, I did go to Thai and I had some pad thai noodles and a curry, but I substituted the white rice for the brown and the chicken for tofu just to make the effort and make sure I was " being good". I savored every last bite. Ok back to shake and ionic supreme.
Met with my Isagenix rep, she is earning $5000 per week with this company, I wonder if I could do that? I bought more of the snacks and Shared my experience so far with her.
We are starting to get used to the routine and were so busy with Super Tuesday caucus that the evening flew by! Got to bed late 1am, missed my last shake, oh well, tomorrow is another day!
Day 6... Got a ton of stuff done, we are both still feeling full of energy and starting to believe I this as a healthy way to live. I love not having to plan, shop and prepare all the meals, I love that I haven't been in a starved panic to eat or get dinner on the table, I haven't eaten out or eaten any fast food, I know I have saved money this week. Just not eating out twice on Sunday before and after church and caving into the fast food requests from the kid. I am very encouraged!
Day 7... Disaster! Woke up feeling tired, fixed the Ionix supreme, took an accellerator tablet and drank a shake, added "want more energy" hoping for just that! Went to gym (first time since starting cleanse) worked out for an hour and then did 1/2 hour Zumba class... Finished class and I was Starving, In a panic starving! Chew my arm off starving! Couldn't find any of the Isagenix snacks I thought I had packed! Ended up getting a salad from Pita Pit which I took home so that I could reload with Isagenix snack wafers.
I ate the salad, but I was still hungry, I ate some celery with peanut butter, but I was still hungry, decided to take a shower, after which I was so tired I had to lie down. I got up and was so grumpy and craving something... Anything, so I had 2 Isagenix chocolates, that did make me feel a bit better, but I really wanted to eat the entire box, I refrained.
I picked my kiddo up from school and ran some errands, I had a couple of the snack wafers, but I was still unsatisfied, I got home and prepared my kiddo dinner and so wanted to scarf down the entire thing, again, I refrained with some encouragement from my husband. I fixed our shakes and ionic supreme and went to bed. Another day done!
Day 4 of 11 - Cleanse
Wow, woke up expecting to be starving and really nervous that my husband would be miserable... Guess what? We both feel great! Slept great and feel great. We are both excited about getting on to our day.
Update... We made it though the day, but TV commercials make not eating stressful, thank goodness for the remote. We are both so excited about having a shake tomorrow and really excited about our 600 calorie lunch!!! Hmmm, I think I will go out and have a really yummy salad or maybe go for Thai.

Day 3 - First Cleanse Day
So, this is not for the faint of heart... I have never gone an entire day without food.
We slept in, but slept great last night! Got up, fixed breakfast for the kiddo, had some water, drank a serving of the cleanse, hmmm tastes good, I like it. Better take our snacks with us, definitely don't want to go more than 2 hours without something. After church feeling pretty hungry and trying to put out of our minds the large meal we usually have on Sundays after church, oh well, will indulge again when we have gotten control of our weight. We listened to the CD With the Dr. That has written all those elite athlete books! That definitely has pushed my doubts about this product line out of my mind and I am so encouraged at the prospect of feeding my body what it needs and losing weight. I have to complete the cleanse without cheating so that I know if it works. So far, have had no negative effects. Used the chocolates for our evening snacks... They are solo good, yum. Off to bed... Yeah day 3 done and dusted!
Day 1 and 2 - Pre Cleanse
Basically, the First 2 days consist of a shake for breakfast, a wafer snack, a 600 calorie meal for lunch, (I had some left over chicken curry I was oh so glad to eat and not throw away, in an attempt to clear the fridge of temptation), another snack wafer or maybe it was 2, and a shake for dinner. Lots of water, which we are good with anyways, oh and ionic supreme, which is a liquid supplement meant to nourish your body.
I must say, I was pleasantly surprised that I did not feel hungry at all. I did have to stop myself from eating a few times, not because I was hungry, but because I like to eat when I feel anxious or have a little snack to avoid doing chores, but I did it, I stuck with the plan and I am so proud of myself. Mike did well too, although he was hungry and had to go to bed early the first night to avoid the urge to eat. We both slept great and awoke not feeling hungry.
So, since I was the one to get us into this, I had understood that the first 2 days were going to be easy compared with days 3 and 4, since you do not eat ANY food on cleanse days. This realization hit Mike, my husband, hard as we were going over the plan for our 1st cleanse day (day 3) while preparing our final shake of our second pre cleanse day. I was chirping that I thought that some orange extract might be good in the shake and asked if he wanted me to add that to his shake, he asked if I could add some steak to his and we laughed. He said if he would have understood that there was going to be no food for the next 2 days he would have savored his last meal at lunch a lot more!
Intro
Ok, so I'm not the first one to jump on any bandwagon and certainly not one about diet and nutrition and especially not one linked to a Multi-level marketing business, so let me just tell you I am not selling this stuff, I am not related to anyone profiting from this I am simply happily married to a 3XL man who I want to go back to XL and mother of 1 very healthy and athletic child, who wants to be more healthy, lose some weight, provide my family with great nutrition and take back control of my eating habits that tend to swing wildly from junk food junkie with a sweet tooth (I love those .99 cent tacos at Jack in the box) to organic vegetarian!
It is not then so hard to believe that after meeting this nice lady at the ski lodge purporting the benefits of using Isagenix that the seed was planted. She said it was superior nutrition that is good for kids and adults, that it was backed up by research, that the cleanse would allow your body to function as it was intended before all the processed foods, pesticides, antibiotic fed meats etc. She gave me a cd to listen to and after asking a bunch of questions, it actually sounded too good to be true... I was skeptical, I didnt want to get sucked into hawking some diet, i didnt want to spend a bunch of money on just some "snake oil" that would leave me disappointed, frustrated and a few hundred dollars poorer. She wasnt pushy, seemed to really believe in the products, she called me to see if I was interested and I quickly told her I didn't think that I wanted to pursue selling this stuff, I wasnt convinced of its benefits, but thanks for the call and I would contact her if I changed my mind.
I went online to see what I could find out. I read about the 9 day cleanse, it wasn't just for weight loss, it was to make you more healthy, clean out your system from a cellular level, hmmmm, maybe that would be a good way to kick off my next go at being "vegetarian", and If my husband Mike and I did it together, it could be a good bonding experience if nothing else!
So, as I write this intro, We are actually at the end of day 3 of 11 days (the 9 day cleanse is really an 11 day program as you do 2 days of pre-cleanse to prep your body) and I thought that I would detail my experience as I am cautiously optimistic of the benefits and want to detail the experience true to form and know that over time my recollection of my feelings and experience will be blurred and exaggerated! So, thanks for coming along with me on my quest to find wellness, weightloss and a sense of control over my eating habits...
